築地市場熄燈...上萬鼠輩大舉逃竄 「銀座區」恐淪陷
有「東京的廚房」之稱的「築地市場」，昨(6日)正式熄燈，場內店家11日將在新址「豐洲市場」重新開幕，繼續為大東京地區的民眾服務，只不過店家搬遷後，築地市場原址所留下的老鼠們，恐怕會成為日後拆遷的大問題，專家擔憂估計當地有數萬隻老鼠，首當其衝的就是鄰近的觀光盛地「銀座」。
築地市場已有83年歷史，許多東京人都是伴著築地市場長大，只不過築地市場設備老舊，環境髒亂，因此日本政府從多年前就開始計畫將築地市場遷至豐洲市場；市場搬遷可以說是一項浩大工程，魚市場內，店家分切魚肉時，掉落的部分碎魚肉、脂肪等垃圾，再加上潮濕的環境，相當適合「米老鼠」們生存在市場內，因此場內市場搬走後，棲息地突然消失，造成原本在市場內流竄的老鼠們，可能就會大批的往外移動。
當局預估將會有上萬隻老鼠會隨著搬家而到處流竄，因此從上個月開始就準備了4萬塊黏鼠板，以及300公斤的老鼠藥，展開滅鼠大作戰，相關單位全都繃緊神經，附近有些商家已經開始在養流浪貓，幫忙補老鼠，一旦店家離開後，這些老鼠將失去食物與棲息地，有可能會大舉遷移，屆時第一個受影響的地方恐是銀座區。
據了解，先前東京都廳曾委託專家對築地市場進行生態調查，沒想到竟得到「無法掌握老鼠數量」的答案，許多專家悲觀認為，市場內的老鼠規模恐怕多達數萬隻。
